Senior Electrical Engineer
Hartwig Staffing is partnered with a local company that is looking to add a Senior Electrical Engineer to their team.
The compensation on this role is $130,000 - $140,000.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science OR 2-year Technical degree with 5
years of experience in electrical engineering 5
years of engineering experience.
Must have aerospace experience AutoCAD and DO-160 experience required Must have experience on the design AND manufacturing side (things more in depth than just designing a latch on a cargo hold) Ability to design, evaluate, test, and debug digital and analog electronic circuits.
Proficiency in reading and analyzing reports, drawings, and schematics.
What you'll do:
Design and develop digital and analog electronic circuits that meet functional requirements.
Specify analog circuit components to meet specified requirements.
Analyze digital circuit clocking and triggering issues to ensure proper functioning.
Utilize FPGAs (Field-Programmable Gate Arrays) in electronic circuit designs.
Incorporate embedded microprocessors into electronic system designs.
Assemble, debug, and adjust digital and analog circuit boards using electronic test equipment.
Analyze power supply and filtering electronic designs for efficiency and reliability.
Design for, evaluate, and troubleshoot EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) protection issues.
Create electronic layouts considering factors such as vibration, thermal control, and testability.
Possess knowledge of electric motor design, selection, and specifications for relevant applications.
Work in an ESD-protected environment while handling electronic equipment.
Use ECAD (Electronic Computer-Aided Design) tools to draw circuit schematics, wire lists, and component layouts.
Plan, conduct, analyze, and report on tests for qualifying electronic circuits.
Identify and resolve production problems related to electronic design.
Possess the ability to read, modify, and debug computer software source code written in C or C++.
Provide technical leadership and direction to small teams when required.
