This position is responsible for the production team at a Fiberglass pool plant.
Manage the daily production including quality, output, and safety for the facility.
Support a strong employee culture through the reinforcement of Latham's Core Values.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Follow company safety policies and programs to promote a safety-first culture throughout the facility.
Lead a growing production team.
Maintain a high level of quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Follow training and cross training program and implement for production staff.
Responsible for production, meeting daily schedule to insure on time delivery while minimizing overtime.
Maintain a high level of quality be ensuring regular inspections of products.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles to identify efficiency issues and suggest improvements to solve the problems.
Submit reports on performance and progress to plant manager.
Communicate job expectations, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Facilitate daily production meetings.
Collaborate on production scheduling, resource allocation, promotions, and other activities across the site.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of HS Diploma with experience; Management or Technical college degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in manufacturing/engineering related function.
Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience desired.
Computer and keyboarding skills - Excel, Databases, and Word Processing.
Experience with payroll systems is a plus.
Must be able to work overtime when necessary, including extended hours &/or weekends.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
Good understanding of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, employee relations.

Exposure to dust, odors/fumes, head or cold (dependent upon weather conditions) and noise is typical.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
